Default lowering it....again.

So when i bought my rcsb it was lowered. i did a 2 1/2 level and used a the left over lowering shackles and raised the rear end. im not digging the lifted look anymore on top of the crappy handling and the creaking rear end noise. i kept the hanger flip kit for the rear but i sold the front springs. Should i buy drop spindles or new springs? should i lose the leveling kit? i want it to look nice and even with a smooth ride. i had to buy longer shocks for the front and rear when i lifted it. do i need to buy new shocks if so what will give me a smooth ride and keep me from slamming and twisting my bed?

Drop springs cause bump steer because it changes the tie rod angels. Thats why I'm currently only using the drop spindles and stock coils at the moment. "C" notch and rear axle flip is the only way to retain a smooth ride. De-arched drop leafs are a horrible ride. Short leaf hangers reduce ride quality. Everyone is different when it comes to what they can tolerate.

so it seems spindles are the way to go. should I get rid of the 2 1/2 in. leveling spacers? is the hotchkis set up worth the cash?

Getting rid of the 2.5" spacers would be easy and free except for the $50 alignment. How much lower than stock are you trying to go and with what size tires? Hotchkis would be great if you want to stick in the corners but you have to commit to a ride hight before you purchase the matched front and rear anti-sways.

I let my buddy borrow my rig and he screwed it up so I made him pay for lifetime alignment at firestone. So I'm set there. I Can't decide on 20's or 22's. I just don't want to look like I'm driving a hoopty lol. I figure a 2/4 would be what I want. I already have the old drop shackles and flip kit. But it rode like crap and I think the previous owner un bowed the leaf springs. I have a spare set that came with the stock front springs I bought off of craigslist. What are the best shocks to use.
