Default what tires?

hey guys, just looking for some input on tires. i've read around and have saw what everyones running but everyone has a different answer. i THINK i've narrowed it down to two tires. i dont do much offroading but i would like a tire that has the option to be moderate if i think i want to. anyways i like the idea of the 275/65/20 nitto terra grappler ($228.04 each) and the cooper zeon ltz's ($271.49) what do you guys think? spend the extra money on the coopers? some input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I really can't help ya out too much on the performance of the AT3's but I just got mine put on today. I did quite a bit of research in to them and have read alot of good things for a relatively new tire. My dilemma wa sbetween the AT3's and the Zeons and I guess the main thing that swayed me to the Discoverers was the 55,000 mile warranty. Not the only thing but definitely a big plus.

I have ProComp Xtreme AT. Have about 12k miles on them and they still look brand new. I have used them in sand, snow and mud with no complaints. Kinda pricey though, over $400 each.

Between those two, for the price at that size, Nittos all the way. The Zeons are good tires, but too expensive for that extra inch you get in the 275/65's. I have the Zeon 275/60R20, and I love them. They have performed so much better than stock both at the beach and in wet weather; but for that price, I would still get the Nittos.

Even if they were the same price, I'd still get the Nittos. Not that the Zeons are a bad tire at all, but just that I think the Terra Grapps are a bit better.

I've beaten on the ones on my Jeep pretty hard, not as hard as the FCIIs on my truck, but still harder than most and they have performed optimally...

i have just put the Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/560/R20 and actually its half inch taller than the stock Good Year Wranglers and and the look awesome. i found them very cheap from a dealer 201.00$ per tire and total cost mounted and instaled and tax was 942.$ out of door.
