Default New sub system.

So I've been debateing over the past few day on whether to do a small sub system in my truck I'm going to build the box to sit on the floor and to go up on the seat and it will have cup holderss in it as well as a dodge symbo and act like a center console for the rear seat. I'm wanting probably 2 10 inch subs and maybe two tweeeters.

I'm going to wrap it in the leather to match the seats and probably do some snake skin or alligator skin for the dodge symbol.

Building and stitching and all that is no problem im a carpenter and I've also doney fair share of leather/fabric work. My only problems is going to be the infinity speaker system in my truck. Seems everyone says not to do a system if you have the factory infinity. What makes it so hard to install subs to them???

The only problem i can forsee is making an aftermarket head unit power your factory infinity amp. To be honest, i would get aftermarket amp and speakers for the trucks regular speakers anyways. There are alot of companies now that make 5 channel amplifiers so you could save space by getting one amp to put out to your two subs along with your 4 speakers.
I know infinity and kenwood make two that are pretty reasonably priced. Check out sonicelectronix.com I get all of my audio stuff there. Check out the "Closeout AUdio" Section for some great deals.
