Default Y-pipe or Cherry bomb extreme?

I have at the moment on my truck a cherry bomb extreme muffler single in dual out with 3.5x18 inch tips.... i just got some 4x24 inch tips in and im gonna get them installed this week, but i have a question... should i remove the cherry bomb muffler and put a y-pipe in instead? what would the difference in sound be? and will i be able to tell much difference with the change of the tips?

The tips won't change anything but looks. Without a muffler, it will sound crappy in my opinion.

The larger tips did change the sound. Its deeper with more of a rumble.
