Default I got some new goodies.

New Wix air filter and oil filter, 6 qts of Royal Purple, 8 Champion copper plus plugs, touch up paint.


What is not seen is i got new brake pads front and back, and tranny fluid.

i plan on getting up early and changing and swapping everything out tmr. If any of y'all have tips or pointers or links that you think will be helpful please send them my way. Also let me know if you think there is anything else I should do, after all this is done ill buy the DC F-C II's.

I'll assume that since you only got 8 spark plugs you dont have a HEMI. But other than that very nice. I'm hoping to switch over to RP one of these days.

If you have a HEMI make sure you get 16 plugs. 2 per cylinder.

Nope I don't have a hemi. But if all goes well ill be doing my folks hemi today as well. Anyone have a DIY to remove the plugs?

Just keep in mind the Hemi takes 7 quarts of oil.

Advice on doing the plugs for the Hemi? Yeah be sure to pack a lunch! It can be a little more time consuming and agravating due to the location of the back sets. Be sure to have 2 - 2 1.5" socket extensions so you can feed them down sectionaly to get the plugs. Also wear gloves or you'll be missing some serious knuckle skin by the end of the day. Lastly invite a friend over and buy a six pack. Good luck!

And also For 5.7L with MDS , SAE 5W-20 engine oil is recommended for all operating temperatures

Nice! I spent all day yesterday converting the air ride on my dad's Navigator to coils and coilovers. Also changed the muffler and rear shocks. Had about nine hours in the job.
I serviced my '02way 1500 last week. I do need to change the plugs, wires, cap, and rotor though.
