Default Mufflers?

Seeing how i need a new muffler what would be a good one to throw on? I was looking at the Cherry Bomb 7427 Extreme because i want to go dual. Would this make my v6 sound alot bigger then it really is? If so that would be awsome. Seeing as im wanting to go dual i dont have that much to spend on a muffler seeing as i need to buy some new pipes.

I love my Magnaflow I recently had installed on my 4.7. It has the perfect sound IMO. It is nice and mellow on the highway with very little drone but it also has that muscle car sound when ya get on it a little. And when you decide to really jump on it, thats when it really talks to ya. It is just a muffler replacement only, SI/SO and I also left the resonator on thinking it might be too loud if I took it off and I was glad I did, I love the sound just the way it is. The only thing I wish I had done is cut out the OEM Y-pipe and had a Magnaflow Y welded in while I was doing it.

Happy with my Dynomax Superturbo. Quiet through the rpms but with good flow.

I think my Magnaflow SI/SO was like $80.00 plus installation, but like I said I absolutely love it.

I have the same exact setup as RICER does except with the cherry bomb extreme on my 4.7. Sounds great and didn't break the bank. I got the 2.5" SI/SO model from amazon.com and paid $51 bucks. The shop charged me about $100 bucks to install.

BTW, Nice to see another regular cab long bed truck on the forum! They're few and far between anymore.

I have never heard an Extreme on a V6, but I will say it sounds awesome on both the 4.7 & Hemi V8s.

Wasn't long after I heard one first-hand on a 4.7 that I put one on my Hemi. Loud with a 60s muscle car sounding deep growl on my truck. Couldn't be happier with the sound or performance...
