Fender Flares

if u get flares for a early 3rd gen, then convert the frontend to the newer face, will the flares will work on the newer fenders?

As far as I'm aware, they're the same flares for all of the 3rd gen.

the ones I am looking at (Bushwacker Pocket style) are only for 06-08 I don't think they cover any other years.

I've got the prestige riveted. Very pleased. Especially for the price, I can't see the bushwackers being any better honestly.

My take on painting - #1 i already had a black truck so they look good. #2 if you actually take the thing off road you'll get them scratched up regardless. Your truck is all grey and black anyway so I think they'd look good unpainted. Up to you.

Thanks for the input... I hope I like them unpainted too (since it is cheaper) As long as it matches the door handles and mirriors pretty close, I think I will like them unpainted. Hopefully I will get them tomorrow...

Quick question for ya - how was the fit on that extractor hood? I will be doing a ram air system next year and that was one of the hoods under consideration.
