Default Fender Flares

So I need a set of fender flares. I assume Bushwacker's are the best?

I am looking at the "pocket style" ones anybody have them?

Anybody try any cheaper ones like this?

any other brands I should consider?
Thanks

I've seen some ebay ones be as good as the Bushwackers and I've seen some be thin, crack-prone pieces of turd.

Safe bet is to go with the name brand...

The Prestige brand you linked seems to get pretty good reviews all around, and for the price, I might get myself a Christmas present LoL Bonus: they are made in the USA, right here in Dallas, TX!

Beware that auction though, the textured flares in the picture are NOT what's in the auction. They are selling the smooth paintable ones.

the auction says it is for the rivit style:

RIVET STYLE FENDER FLARES

Prestige fender flares are made of top quality OEM approved ABS plastic. The ABS plastic we used is well known for its durability in automotive industry. Each piece of our flares is carefully designed for perfect fitment and proven to be UV resistant from the harsh sun radiation and most outdoor environment.

Prestige RIVET style flares provide an extra coverage on trucks with larger wheel and tire packages. The Rivet style flares come with the stainless steel nuts and bolts which gives the vehicle an industrial and aggressive styling without the hassle of actually drilling to the fenders. Our rivet hardware are made of 100% stainless steel and have passed the rust test under strong acidic water. Prestige Rivet style flares update your vehicle with an awesome wide-body look and shield your vehicle from road debris. The extra width of the flares is also a great and quick fix for covering the rusted fenders.

I think they are just saying they are the smooth finish compared to the textured. They make them in both:

looks bad a$$ on your truck. Do the flares make the wheel well smaller at all? I have the "stuffed" look now and my tires are really close in the front when turned. I am worried about the tires hitting the flares.

Opinions wanted:
Would my truck look good with flares? Painted or not?

I know that many require them in order to legally run wider tire widths, which I'm running into at the moment (by half a friggin inch!), but personally I love the lines of the 3rd gen as designed. I'm not a big fan of flares. My plan is to stay without them on permanently as long as possible!
