Default Sound system problem?

The rear door speakers on my 2002 ram 1500 QC arent working. I have the infinity system. The speakers are replacements, so I'm guessing the last guy with my ram had the same problem. I checked and the speakers arent blown, and the rear left speaker works sometimes, but only when the door is closed. Anyone esle have this problem? Any suggestions?

On an '02, it's probably more likely the wires are broken in the door harness. Apparently it's a frequent problem.

I checked the connectors and they are fine. MikeHTally, you're probably right. I just read up on this and a lot of other people have had problems with the wires in the boot. Thanks for the suggestion. I'll work on it tomorrow and post an update

MikeHTally you were right. I pulled out the book and rolled it back and the positive and negative wires for the speakers were completely severed on both doors. The rest of the wires were cracked and copper was exposed, thankfully no thing ever shorter. I just cut all the wires out and soldered in new ones. Everything works fine now.
