Default getting a new truck!!

getting a 2006 dodge ram regular cab SLT 4x4 red with a LIFETIME powertrain warranty in excellent condition for 15k$ with 63,000 miles

anybody have a lifted singlecab? doesnt have to be a 06 but im just looking for ideas.. i can only go with 4" because thats the highest without voiding the warranty

lifting it has nothing to do with the engine.

congrats on the new truck though. post pics when you get it

Yea nothing can technically void your warranty unless it is found to be the cause of the issue

dealer said i cannot lift it past 4" because it will void the warranty

I can see that, 6" and the tires they clear (37") puts a LOT of stress on front end components, especially CV shafts.

The thing I don't agree with is by just saying you can't lift it more than 4" is kinda stupid, since a level (2" of suspension lift) and body lift (3") will give 5" total inches of lift and is no harder on the front end than most 4" suspension lifts (and a LOT easier on CVs than many poor, bargain-basement, 4" suspension lifts).

I have a Rancho 4" lift, very happy with it for six years now...

How did you get a lifetime powertrain warranty, those are only good for the original owner, make sure the dealer isn't pissing on your back and telling you it's raining.

I'll re talk to them and see if I can run higher than a 4" that guy might have not known what he's talkin about.. But yeah the dealer sells a bunch of cars with under 100k with lifetime warrantys
