I've been there, done that. I bought an '02 Grand Cherokee for a daily driver. In '06 right after I got divorced I went out to look at Honda CRVs originally, but we always got the ex-wife new Grand Cherokees (3 or 'em during our 14 years of "bliss") and the CRVs seemed awful "plasticky" to me so I went a looking for a 2WD, I6 cylinder WJ. Ended up buying an '02 Overland, V8 4x4 and yup, I've modded it, lifted it, put bigger tires and even a winch on it. I ain't too bright, LOL...
