Default Show me your black rims

As I've stated several times on this forum, I plan on keeping my truck and handing it off to my son. In exchange for not having to buy him a separate vehicle, I'm going to foot the bill to help him trick it out a little bit. I don't think that will include any sort of lift but will include leveling it out, probably a louder dual exhaust, and some new rims and a bit more aggressive tires. I have to admit, even I'm tired of these stock 20's. But, he wants black rims. I don't want anything that's going to cause the tires to stick way out of the fender wells.

If you have some black rims on your rim, would you post a pic and tell a little bit about them?

Thanks

I don't have a pic yet, because I don't own them yet, but I will be buying gloss black KMC XD Hoss 17x9's for my Ram. I bought and owned these wheels on a previous vehicle and loved them. I'd of kept them and put them on the Ram, but it was the wrong bolt pattern. If you google images for "KMC XD Hoss Ram" you'll find some pics including a red truck over on the Cummins forum. I love these wheels--very aggressive looking!

I'd say to paint them black to save yourself some money but the 04' 20's probably only look good in chrome..Optimus has a point with those KMC's! They look great

Thought about posting something re. painting stock rims black and they would probably look good on the right truck, in gloss, maybe even leaving some silver exposed. But I don't want to buy another set of tires for 20" rims. Crazy to pay so much more for a bigger hole in the middle.

Looks like I have some rims very similar to that on my golf cart.

I'm more interested in all black or mostly black, or I should say my son is. Although he is the one that picked the cart rims out as well. If he had his way, he'd be painting my truck black also.

Throw you a set of Cepeks on there, either the Torques or the DC2s would look killer. Not terribly expensive in 17" flavor usually right around a buck and a half a pop...

The Hoss comes in 3 colors, gloss black (what I have), flat black, and chrome.

And yes, I've seen ITP wheels very similar to these and your golf cart wheels that I'm trying to justify "needing" for my ATV. I think I paid $165 per wheel shipped (eBay from a tire shop).

The KMC Rockstar also seems to be popular.
