Im thinking about removing it because i use this truck for work and a lot of times it would be handy to be able to use the bed instead of a trailer. I live in a rural area so most of my driving is just cruising on back roads around 45 mph. Would i really see any difference in mpgs? Thanks

 

Probably not. Bed covers are ugly in my opinion anways..

 

Myth busters did a show on pick ups with tail gate up vs down, truck actually got worse mileage with the gate down. Having the cover on or off probably wont make any difference.

 

I did several comparisions with mine. never noticed any difference in milage.
