5'' force cold air dual induction
Looks pretty sweet and even if it doesn't offer any gain, you can still pop up the hood with a beer and talk shop with your buddies.
As for general mechanics. Air intake is limited to t/b internal diamater, which is 80mm(3.15"), now, that doesn't mean a 3.5" or 4" intake tube doesn't help in aded airflow. It just means that there is a limit to what will actually help.
When you go past the intake diameter that will help, you will have less airflow through those tubes which means that air can become stagnent and the slower the airflow, the hottoer it will get from engine heat. If you have any smaller diameter tubes in front of the 5" tubes, that will also render the 5" tubes less uselful. Just something to think about.
As for the T causing turbulence. I think to a degree yes, but nothing that would cause any noticeable issue's, especially since you have plenty of air supplied within those 5" tubes!

both filters have sealed housings i took one off for you guys to see what is inside of them, this is a totally seald forced-ram air system
thanks for your reply

yes what your saying is correct if i went from tb to 5'' but i did maintaine 3'' fittings to my dual filters, i know doubling at the t changes the math but in the end 5'' duct work is outside of the filters or before "and so is atmosphere" why are my housings and ducts treated differntly than anyone else running filters with no housing and ducts after the filters there is only atmosphere!
I am not a physics major but dosent that make sense.
You are right about the beer and shop talk thats where i get the most gains.
Thanks for your post.
