Default 5'' force cold air dual induction

just finished.
The 5'' white duct tube EXTENDS DOWN BELOW THE FRONT BUMPER
"I dont do alot of off roading so intake location down that low no issue for me"
bumper mount intakes are from a portable 12000 btu air cond. house unit.the black abs 6'' housings "will be painted same color as truck metalic red" are weeping tile fittings from LOWES the white pvc 3'' fittings are for a sewer.
only showing 1 side " HAVE IDENTICAL HOUSING AND DUCT FOR DRIVERS SIDE TO BE INSTALLED TO MAKE IT A TRUE SEALED COLD AIR FORCED SYSTEM "
so you can see the 10''x6''x3'' inlet SPECTRA DUAL FILTERS.
HAD TO USE A HEAT GUN TO SOFTEN THE ABS 6'' PIPE WHEN TIGHTENING HOSE CLAMP TO GET A SOLID FIT ON THE FITER CHROME END AT ITS INLET.
I KNOW THIS IS EXTREME AND I'II PROBABLY BE CRITISIZED BUT AS MY DADDY USED TO SAY
"GO BIG OR GO HOME!"

It will be criticized for how big the piping is because the throttle body is only 3 inches so why have a pipe thats gonna have more volume than the TB can handle? I'm not trying to criticize your work I just want to know what you think or know larger piping will do for it. You did a great job no doubt it looks excellent I just want to know your thought process so I can learn something new as well since we are always learning

Air on demand! When my engine needs it its there i will only benifit at wot or sudden ecceleration. You guys running narrow so called cold air intakes are lying to yourselves
try drinking pop out of two straws and then try one and tell me which is easier to do!

Yes but using your straw exmaple you have two smaller diameters going into one big diameter. With your CAI your doing the opposite. What youre doing is like a funnel effect. The air will always be there. You don't need a bigger pipe to get "more"

Default jkusaf thanks for comment

It sounds stock at idle but off the line punching it its a real bear sounds like open pipes but noise is comming out of the intake,it's a total sleeper,
but cant wait to open my exhaust.

You say it's forced, but I don't see any turbo or supercharger plumbing. Does the turbo come later?

I think the op is trying to say that it is more of a ram-air setup. forced... not that I can see.

Nice handy work OP

Thank guys allot of compliments, like NATEROACH said its ram induction I guess forced was out of context but to me having my duct work facing forward below front bumper air is being forced in,
p.s. I'm going 1 step more and changing the actual duct mouths to 4''x10'' house register steel ducts, to really cram it in there.
Keep you posted on this thread.

Interesting concept. My concern would be that air always takes the path of least resistance, so I think most of the intake air would be drawn in at the filter in the bay as opposed to the cold duct. Also the T transition is abrubt and could cause unneccesary turbulance in the airflow. Just my .02
