So I just purchased the cruise control switches for my '03 Ram and installed them. Everything I've read, including the service manual states that that's all I need to install since the 5.7L Hemi is fully electronically controlled.

Well, cruise doesn't work after installing it.

One post I read hinted at the idea that the PCM might need to be reprogrammed to recognize that it has cruise control (I have looked and looked but can't find that post anywhere now). Is this true, and if so, am I going to be met with grief trying to get a dealer to reprogram it?
