Default Cluster lights

For some reason I didn't think that the background was blue, I thought the tint was green. White LED's from Super Bright LEds yields blue...I'm getting used to it.

Don't get me wrong here, It Looks good but is kinda dark 0-30mph and 6-7krpm? Are you missing a bulb or isn't there a bulb there so it looks dim? i suppose the high rpms would bother me as much as the low mph would.
The only problem with LED's is that they are uni-directional with a 30* viewing angle. Halogens have a 270* viewing angle and it's not 360* only because the base gets in the way..lol So if there isn't a bulb near 0mph, that's likely the problem.

Yea, sorry, I'm a dumb ***, posted the wrong picture! Had the factory bulb in yet. These LED's have the wider view angle...130 degrees? Picture looks washed out compared to actual.

This one looks better. I might have to change the odo and PDRD12 to blue film...

so the lights also changed the color of the digital screens like the odo and shift selection?

No, they are still green. I can pull the cluster and place some blue film over the odo and selector, between the readout and the cluster cover, to give it a blue tint. I have not done that yet. I was just shocked that the white LEDs turned it blue when it appears the background is green.

Pretty easy DIY...if i would have known white would be blue I probably would have ordered green to keep the cluster green...who knew?

That saved me a lot of hassle I want to do LEDs soon and would like to keep the teal.

I'd actually prefer the 300C-style indiglo backlighting. That's my favorite instrument panel, and one day I'll own a 300C SRT8!

Green LEDs would probably be the best as obviously white didn't keep them greenish (teal). I guess you could get factory bulbs, but it seemed from other posts on the subject, that the part number is difficult to come by on aftermarket.

Keep in mind that if you go with LEDs and you have remote entry, the bulb behind the box will need to be trimmed to get the remote entry box back into place on the back of the cluster. Mine wasn't trimmed good enough and on the first picture the box was pushing the LED away from the contacts so I had to trim more off.

I used 11 - B8.5D LEDs from Super Bright LEDs in the B8-HP series (120 degree). If anyone was wondering.

i just thought i would point out that i don't think green led's would give you the stock color. i think to get closest to stock color background on the IC would be to go with yellow LED's which would be closest in color to a stock bulb when they are on.
