Looks like he was hit from behind and accelerator stuck partially. But why not kill engine or stomp brakes

 

Were you as vague with the dealership as you were with us? This post is worthless if you are looking for any kind of input or help...

 

This incident happened when backing into a concrete pole @JUST 5 MPH!!!!! WATCH AS I ALMOST DRIVE THROUGH A BUILDING!!! First I lost control of the throttle, then I had no brakes, then I put it into park (it didn't go there), and I lost power steering, I turned off the ignition, and it still continued to run ( note the interior light comes on when I turn off the ignition). It took me out into the street, and almost into a building! I was able to get control, only after I turned the ignition back on, and into the crack positition, that is the squeel you hear , then everything resets! I reported this to Chrysler, and left them a copy of this video, ( they did not take for their records). Only a slight dent in the rear bumper was caused. BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU DRIVE THIS TYPE OF DODGE TRUCK!!!! Thanks to Motorsportscamera.com for the video system in the truck to capture all of this! Contact me if you have had a similar experierence

As many of you have commented about this incident, I want you to know this was published to make Dodge aware of this issue, which they say that there wasn't anything logged into the computer. Interestingly enough, all history was deleted from the computer ( I checked after they had looked at the truck) . My desire was to prevent anyone else from this possible damage. AS FOR MY DRIVING HISTORY, I CURRENTLY RACE IN SCCA, NASA, AND PRO-AUTOSPORT racing, I race in an unlimited category. I responded in aN instinctive manner, appropriate to the moment. This has been reviewed by 2 of my Mentors from SCCA. THINK ABOUT IT... if this was your family member, wouldn't you want to let everyone else know?
