Bed lining Rear bumper and Nerf Bars
Hey all,
Just gonna start this thread and update it through the weekend in the steps of getting this done:
Truck before:

That's with the chrome nerf bars and painted rear bumper (SLT Sport)
So here's the first prep work and as far as I got so far:
My truck sporting A**less chaps:

No Nerf bars:

Bumper off:

Nerf bars off:

Will be getting them sand blasted tomorrow AM and update with pics, then Sunday is bedlining day.
As said will edit in new pics tomorrow,
Thanks for viewing,
Kasper

Yessir, I just got up and am leaving for the sandblasting. Pics in a few hours.
EDIT:
This is what I got done so far:
Temporary mount and light for the license plate:

While I had the bumper off I put on some rear tow hooks with up to 20,000lbs capacity. Some pretty sick claws:

I get the bars and bumper back on Wednesday, then it's straight to Line-X.
See you all Wednesday!
Kasper

My dad had them laying around. I believe he bought them at Wal Mart or a similar place (NAPA, autozone, pep boys...)
Installation was drilling two 1/2inch holes through the bottom of that plate and bolting them on. I didn't torque them, but they were so tight on final tightening that my whole truck shook with me, haha.
Got 3 of the 4 holes drilled with an 18v cordless drill, just be prepared to have molten fragments of Dodge falling on you. Gloves and safety goggles with a hoodie stopped all of that. Good luck on the claws, looks menacing.
I'll keep you all posted in the next few days when I get the bumper back

48w each XD, plus I have 4 24w and 2 18w ones on my roof. Nobody in my small town will tailgate me
I forgot to mention:
Sandblasting cost $195 for everything.
Bedlining cost $250 for everything.
