Default Mobile 1?

Hey guys,

With the first oil change on my 06 Ram Megacab Cummings coming up soon, the owners manual says I can use synthetic oil. Is Mobile 1 the proper viscosity for the diesel?

What viscosity does the Cummins call for? Mobil 1 is synthetic but has different viscosities.

Cummings, Cummins, Goings, Goins. It's all the same. "Mobil 1" is not a viscosity. I think the diesels use 10w-40?

Can you really go six years on an oil change in the diesel? If so... I got the wrong truck! :O

LOLLOLOLOLLOLOL haha wow

yea u can go 6 years on a oil change, im sure your crank wont spin tho.

its "mobil 1" not mobile ha and yes its cummins not cummings, STOCK I BELIEVE is 15w-40 in CONVENTIONAL OIL. i HEAR of people using a DIESEL SYN. OIL, i dont know how well it works or if you should use it but i believe they weight it comes in is 10w-40
