Good Deal for RP users!

I get two 5qt jugs of Mobil 1 from Walmart for $25ea and a PureOne filter for $7 at Advance Auto. I use the 2nd jug for the extra 2qts and save the rest for the next oil change.
So, for each oil change, the cost is only $45 for 7qts and a PureOne Synthetic filter.
If you really wanted to be savvy, the left over quart can be saved for the 4th&5th change so for every 4 oil changes you'll have the extra 2qts needed to complete the 7qts and you save $12.50.

No specials needed!

 

I would do this but I can get the same "deal" that Dirty can get. So when it comes time for the next oil change I would be changing brands too much

 

They actually sell Royal Purple in 5w20 here at the BX. Not sure how much it is, exactly, but I'm coming up on an oil change, so I'm going to check here soon. Gotta see if they sell (or can order) the filters, too. If not, I may just try to find the filters online somewhere.
