Default Tow Mirrors

Does anyone have any experience with these mirrors? They are about half the price of anyone else.

I looked at the replacements but I ended going with the Mopar's for about 338. You can search the forum for previous comment about towing mirrors. I read some review about some vibration with the replacement brands. I don't know that many have had both to really compare.

I'm saving my pennies for the Mopar branded ones. I don't want to deal with vibration or glass issues like everyone has brought up with the aftermarket replacements.

Yeah, it seems most who opt for the fleabay ones have problems.

As far as tow mirrors in general, I've had seven full size trucks, including a diesel and this is the first one that came with "tow mirrors", never gave them much thought before, even back in the days I tournament bass fished almost every weekend. I would NEVER own a truck without them now...

I have the original mopars but after a jerk off decided to take mine out one day in a parking lot somehow i had to replace one. I used the knock off for about $120 and the only complaint i can come up with is the glass vibrates a little more than the mopar. Great quality otherwise.

With my 37's i need them for the blind spots. My buddy has the same setup as me on his 98 3500 with the standard mirrors and its night and day. well worth the extra $$

***my vibration issues are probably from my 15" subwoofer on 3300watts and the mud grapplers***

I purchased my tow mirrors from AM Auto Parts about a year ago, and I am completely satisfied with them. I paid $214.00 for the full power/heated version. I rarely flip them up, but they function perfectly for towing, and what a big difference in the overall look of the truck. I have not had any problem with vibration.
