i know there is a lot of talk and threads about tuners and which one to get, a SC or the DSP , and the DT im looking into putting 35's on and dont want to loose that much power , im thinking about getting a tuner to go alond with the new tires so i can put in the performance tune , im looking for a tuner that will give me the option of a stock , mid , and perfomance tune to gain a few HP back . can anybody lead me in the right direction , thanks guys i have a 04 hemi 4x4 and looking to put 35's like i said , any info will help

 

03 = SC3813 + TMR mod
04+ with stock or cam with 113 LSA+ = SC3865 + trans tunes
04+ with cam less than 113LSA = Diablo Predator/Trinity

 

thanks weed , i knew you would have some good info!! there is that SC cortex on the for sale side , is that any good ? not sure what the LSA is , but i was looking at the predator also . i want the HP gains !!!

 

I love my SC 3865, wouldn't have any other tuner.

 

So the sc 3819 for the 03 hemi then right? u still need the trm mod even with the tuner?

You are probably referring to my Cortex for sale. It has all of the same functions as the 3865 plus more. Also LSA = lobe separation referring to an aftermarket cam. If you don't have any plans for an aftermarket cam then disregard this.

 

The Cortex can't get the trans upgrade so the 3865 is the better of the two

I have it and its awesome if you use the 91 tune. Sometimes I'll look down at my cluster and be going 60 in like a 40 lol it feels like my truck lost 1000 lbs
