Exhaust
One of these days I want to do a custom true dual exhaust on my truck. Replace the factory "Y" with a "X" then run pipes either right in front of the passenger rear tire, or angled out the back. Sooo my question is which would be best, (2) SI/SO mufflers, or (1) DI/DO muffler. Anybody have either of these? Opinions?

There's pics of my exhaust off my headers.
I have true duals with stock cats, and each pipe has an 8" long SI/SO (3") Cherrybomb glasspack.
Do you want it dumped like this?:

If so, I can get you pics of the whole piping up on the lift XD

Ya Kasper thats about what im thinkin. Except no headers, at least for awhile. And Hammer so your sayin "true duals" is split the "Y" and run individual pipes? Which do you think would sound better?
Recently went from a Y 3" SI/SO to a 3" DI/DO w/ internal X muffler and its works for me but may not be for you.
My first aftermarket exhaust many moons ago was a Gibson Supertruck which SI/DO before the rear tire. Looked and sounded good.
