I added one of the 42 mm models from Ebay with 16 LED's in it to my main interior lights and it is super bright. I went with white though.

I had bought a set of LED's for the Push on/Push Off map lights above the rear view mirror but then realized their is an issue with using LED's in that location. The issue i found is they will not turn on with the switch located in that housing. They only turn on with the main interior light switch next to the headlight switch or when the doors open. I did some seraching on the net and apparently others have had this issue.

Do your map light LED's turn on when you press the lens?

Haha, actually it is a 3' antenna which you can see if you look close.

I like the headlights and lighting (even though a couple 194's are out) and cops dont like the blue, but when in another state they dont stop me.

if my truck isnt running then they wont turn on without the main switch, well i shoudnt say they wont turn on they are just really dim, if my truck is running though they will turn on. i did notice though that when i changed the dome light bulb to an led bulb that now both map lights and my dome light have a very dim constant glow to them with or without the truck running they never shut off its dim enough that you dont see it during the day but it can be seen at night, good thing there leds my truck sat for 3 to 4 days without being touched and still had plenty of battery when i hoped in it

Some really good ideas in this post. I really like that cup holder, I think the factory cup holders are a joke. I may have to order one myself. Thanks guys! Just when you think you have everything....

Me too. Except, here in NY, it's illegal to have any lights blue or red in the front of your vehicle. Those are designated for emergency vehicles only. I would get pulled over in under a week with lights like those illuminated while driving down the road.

Dirtydog, I'm pretty sure it's illegal in all states. Some just are more strict on enforcing it. For instance, my buddy has an eclipse with neon lights underneath and he can drive with green, purple, and orange, but he can't with red, blue, or flashing cuz he'll be pulled over. We live in Texas by the way, by far one of the least strict states on stuff like that.

Another mod I did that ya'll may like is some blue reverse lights. I bought these blue lightbulb covers at pep boys for like $15 and it looks real cool to me. I blacked out the tailights also but kept the white part so I could see backing up at night. I'll post pics when I get a chance.

I've done a lot of non-performance mods. I like the home-made stuff myself that gives a ride a personal touch to make it different from everybody else's ride.

Some I've made not just on the truck but on the Jeep:
