Louder after CAI install

Engine sounds like it has more of a throaty roar after installing cheap ebay CAI, is this normal? Not talking about the sucking sound... and I have stock exhaust. Also almost feels like i lost a bit of low end.

Yup, when you remove the resonator, that's what you get. You'll get that with any CAI you install.

Should be no reason to lose low end with only a CAI, but yeah, you took a resonator out, it should be louder...
