First of all I would like to thank all of you who gave me advice and pointers on doing this mod. It took me about an hour and a half with wiring the switchbacks and all. I really took my time because I didn't want to screw anyting up. I tested the wiring to see which wires to splice into and on my '06 it was the two outside wires(black for ground and white w/ a red stripe for the power to the turn signal bulb).
These are the lights I ordered:

Headlight out and resistor wired in:

Plus since I got rid of the amber strip I got a couple under the hood lights:


Once again thanks to all that helped me out on any of the threads that I posted. I am cleaning the wheels tomorrow and plastidipping them then I will post some pics of everything I have been doing here the last few weeks.

Man.... those look really nice.... almost too nice. I might have to look into them, I really am not a fan of the amber strip on the 06s. Excellent work, looking forward to pictures of the whole truck when you're done!

Love the headlights, where did you get them?

 

I got them off of ebay from dotcom racing.

 

What are Switchbacks? Are they dual color LED's that replace the Turn signals? Is it a kit you buy? If so from who?

The kit comes with everything you need, bulbs and resistors. I take that back you will have to buy four inline splice connectors.

 

How is the brightness compared to stock?
