They glass has a little vibration at highway speeds, but no more than my other mirrors. The magnification on the passenger side mirror seems a bit stronger and takes a little getting used too, but I usually use the smaller convex mirrors anyway.

I love my Kool-Vues and yes, that mirror takes getting used to but when you're backing up a 30 footer, it's a God send!
I've had my Kool's for about a year now. My dad has a 3500 with OEM tow mirrors and I can't tell the difference. And the vibration - his vibrate just as much - which isn't really a lot considering they are larger mirrors compared to stock 1500's I would say that being the cause of any vibration. I'd say, given the price comparison and if I had to do it again, I'd get the Kool-Vues again. I worry about sun fade and all that being in S. Fla but again, it's been almost a year so far and they look just as good as day one.
Love them and honestly never thought I would, i don't do very much towing and everything I do tow would not require tow mirrors but I do love that look, might get me some just for look
