Default Corsa exhaust just installed....

Just had a Corsa performance exhuast installed on Friday. And all I can say is WOW! The increase in performance is amazing. It's so quiet when your cruising. But when you hit that accelerator it screams. Really, really, impressed and happy with Corsa.

Is this the catback or just a muffler? I am just about ready to pull the trigger on a catback. Corsa was my pic but I dont want to lose my low end torque....Did you? I was looking into Magnaflow but no kits for a 2008 Quad Cab

It is a catback system. I don't know personally how to determine your torque question. All I know is the acceleration is insane now. The issue with hearing drone inside the cabin is gone. HP gain definitely increased by A LOT. Everything Corsa advertised is legit.

I replied in your original post. Gotta make sure your catback is for an IFS and not SFA. No difference in catback fitment betweeen 2006-2008. Onlt difference are qty of resonators in the same tubing. 08's only have 1.

Corsa's sound nice. Is it Stainless, mild steel , or aluminized/mild? If it's only mild steel, I'd say pull it back off and shoot it with a few coats of high temp paint to saver the life in the salt months!

Thanks dirtydog,I dont seem to be able to find my original post but thanks again! Do you happened to know if it is correct that the kit for the Mega cab Magnaflow kit will be to short? Kit # 16850. I think im going to order kit # 16699. I really like the looks of the corse but I think the straight through design will decrease torque more than the Magnaflow will because the tube comes into the muffler and then passes through the muffler at a slight angle which will creat some back pressure. I wish all the different muffler companys would show the internals of their mufflers..cant seem to find the insides of a Corsa..but im sure its not much different than a Magnaflow.

The only corsa catback kit i can find for ram is a single muffler out side, is this what you have? nevermind i was not looking past my year its a single in /do, I wish i could afford that kit but that way to much for me to spend on kit to bad they dont sell just the muffler.

What did you pay for it? In the past didn't a Corsa cat-back run around $900-1000? Now I see one for my 05 is around $500. Did they change them?

Might be a good option for me.
