Mods under $500?
Headlights/taillights - Check your local craigslist/kijiji and see what you like for a good deal
Window 'covers' (What's the name anyway?) like on my truck are nice in the summer where you can crack your windows to keep it cooler.
Bed liner if you haven't got one already, you can do it yourself for ~$200 but it is very labour intensive (Sanding and sanding and sanding the box)
Look through WeedaHoe's signature, he's done a bazillion cool things to his truck and a lot of them are fairly low cost.

Something some may never notice but with painted calipers it'll set the other off, and those will set the wheels off. Also, the slotted rotors add safety to the mix. I may look into those! The heads and tails add a awesome look but I do pull trailers and 24's add some weight too. May very well do rotors and paint and add a brake controller. Also thought about shocks since mine are stocks and it's lowered.
I missed his second post lol. Yes I agree I think the stock lights taken apart to paint the inside blue could look cool and different around my area at least. Over the stock chrome it should give it a nice candy look. Or I could prime it first for a darker stock blue look.
A guy had these on his '07 3500 for a week before selling it. There's a tab broken on one beside one of the two holes that are behind the grille area but besides that they appear to be in great shape. Says $100. He's a 110 miles from me so that's a $60-80 trip there and back. What do you guys think? Buy or pass and try to paint mine blue?
There's probably a reason he only had them on a week before getting rid of them. I'd find out that reason before I commit to anything like that, or you may find yourself dumping them after a week, as well.
Read that a little wrong. Here's his post:
This is a set of aftermarket projector headlights removed from my 07 Dodge Ram 3500. They where on there less than a week. The man that owned my truck before me installed them then decided he was going to sell the truck. So he removed them to keep for his replacement truck however they would not fit what he bought. So I obtained them to reinstall and never did it. The only problem I found was there is a broken body alining pin as shown in the picture, however there is two bolts in the same area. The pin appears to be redundant and does not affect the lights. Excuse the bug remains on the lenses when I took the pics, they are not scratches.
