Default Edge or Superchips

Which programmer is better for a 2007 Dodge Ram with a 5.7 HEMI MDS?

Most of the members here use the Superchips 3865 programmer. Best bang for the buck. I will be getting that one for myself as well.

I've known three people who bought the Edge and two of them now have a Superchips. 'Nuff said...

I can't speak from experience, I've only run the Diablo and the Superchips (which for my PCM the Superchips kicks the Diablo's a$$).

I never tried the Edge, it's a minor player and I'm not even sure they support my year. Never asked a reason why the guys I know switched, didn't really care since I wasn't in the market for an Edge.

I know our poll shows about 25 SC owners for every Edge, must be a reason...

Update to this thread:

I just became aware that MSD Performance (parent company of Superchips) acquired Edge around last November. They are in the process of moving the Edge programmer production to the Superchips factory in Sanford, FL. and the two will merge and be sold under the "Powerteq" brand name.

So I guess it really doesn't matter which one you buy, at some point I'm guessing they will have the same tunes...
