Default assistance with suspension upgrade

Here's what I have:

2005 2wd long box
Lower ball joints need replaced.

While I'm down there I'm going to also replace the shocks, and wanting to level it out. Not planning on getting huge tires or making it massive

Here's were I need some recommendations.
Starting with ball joints; Moog?
leveling; spindle or spacer?
Shocks: tons of info on 4wd, not so much on 2wd.
Now in the rear I would like to add air ride. I do some towing how can that effect the leveling of the truck in the front end?
And if theres something that's an easy "while I'm down there," let me know.

And most of all this has to be practical & economical. Not a infinite amount of $$ at my disposal.

Ball joints - Moog, but I understand they are now making OE ones without zircs for about $5 cheaper than their model with zircs. Get the ones that you can grease.

spacer is fine for up to 2", for more go spindles.

Monroe Reflex seems to be the shock of choice for guys I know with mildly lifted 2WD trucks...

I have the Air Lift Ride Controls, didn't opt for any of the on-board stuff. Just put the valve under my rear bumper. Only difference I did from the install manual was I welded the brackets rather than drilling the frame and using the supplied bolts.

This kit gives 2000 lbs. of leveling. I have had 2200 lbs. in my bed and have towed a 7000# tractor and rough cutter combo on a 22' trailer and have still only needed 40# of air (100# is max) to level the truck. I was tempted to get a 5000# bag set, but couldn't find any that would mount on a lifted truck without major modification. The Ride Control kit mounts regardless of suspension or body lift and since I've never come close to maxing it out, I'm glad I didn't mess with a 5k lb. kit...

I'm liking the Bilsteins I put in (but they're SRT spec).

Thank you
