Default lift suggestions?

I'm thinking about lifting my 2002 1500 4x2. I don't want to spend a lot of money or replace the spindles. I think more than 3" requires spindles? Any input on lift kits is appreciated. Also has anyone bought blocks/coil spacers/coils on eBay? And should I then upgrade my shocks? Thanks.

Just do a 3inch body lift and then you don't have to worry about any of that other stuff

I'd rather not do a body lift, and from a lot of pricing its looks more expensive

3inch body lift is more expensive than a suspension lift?

They only run about $300-$500 not installed

Now if your going to block it then ya it will be cheaper than body lift, but in the end you will still want to buy new shocks and so on...

So really up to you

Body lifts are great while still keeping your factory CV angles. Check out the Rancho 4 inch kit, I will hopefully be pulling the trigger on one soon.

Rancho kit is for 4x4s only. $350 for a body lift would be what I'd do with a 4x2, maybe in combo with 1.5-2" spacers up front.
What do you have against body lifts?

I'm thinking about just doing spacers and blocks. I just can't find a good place to get them. I'm not too worried about ride quality considering the roads around here lol. I don't have anything against body lifts, my funds are pretty limited so I'm trying to get the cheapest lift. Thanks for the input guys

You mustn't be looking very hard, ALL the 4x4 and off-road sites have spacers and most have blocks. 4 Wheel Parts, Rocky Mountain Lifts, Suspension Connection, etc. I also know for a fact that Autozone carries blocks (and U-bolts) in half in increments from 1/2" to 4", have bought them there myself...
