I have ordered thru Summit numerous of times, as they are usually quick about shipping to APO....The only issue I have had was this last couple of orders. I had ordered a expandable H-pipe for my Mustang, which they promptly shipped thru the APO, but while I was waiting for it, I realized that I had forgotten to order a new dipstick, which I ordered...They ended up shipping the H-pipe thru USPS but used a commercial shipper to try to ship to a APO (which didn't work.)
Needless to say, I will continue to order from them, as 1 time out of many does not put me off..

should be;

Fool me once, Shame on You
Fool me twice, Shame on Me

Because, the first time, they should feel ashamed for fooling you, the 2nd time you should feel ashamed for falling for it again.
It's all good though! I knew exactly what you meant.
Oh I see now lol as long as you know what I ment

I was extremely frustrated when I typed that post

Well I just received a call from a Head Supervisor from SummitRacing and he had listen to the calls between me and the reps. and how they were very disrespectful and wouldn't let me talk because he kept talking over me, so he apologized and offered me a refund on the $30(the first rep. I talked to yesterday wanted me to pay $75 for the difference but when I spoke to the first supervisor yesterday he discounted it to $30) I had to spend to upgrade to the KYB shocks or give me a $40 gift card for SummitRacing which I took because like I said I had some other things in my cart I need to order Friday and so its like getting my refund plus $10 off next order so I'm happy with that ....I guess....at least they tried to make it right with me which is what I asked for from the beginning

Do your own research FIRST. Go to the MANUFACTURERS website and contact them directly if their is any question about what parts will or will not fit your truck. Unless it's a universal part that i have no real questions about, i will always do all my part number research first, then order from a dealer with great prices, like Summit.
Dude! You stole my thunder that's exactly what I do.

I've run into this with other companies before. Not just parts places, too. Nothing more blood pressure-raising than finding something for a great deal, ordering it, seeing that they really DO ship to APOs, then getting an e-mail from a third-party drop-ship place saying they don't ship to APO's (usually because they only ship UPS or FedEx). Pisses me off to no end...

At least Summit made it right!
In this case it's true that...

Default No Longer a Summit Racing Customer

I have been a customer of summit for over 20 years... After a few Bad deliveries ,wrong parts, damaged parts and incorrect information about parts on their web sight... All these things I can forgive as part of the human condition of work ethics... BUT what I wont and dont forgive is disrespect towards a customer especially when it has to do with credit card information and verification and 3 suspicious chargers I will no longer buy or promote Summit Racing... I am now a Jegs Customer Not to mention Jegs offered me a Racers discount which summit also offers however summit never mentioned it... JEGS DID...
