I found a great deal on some Monroe Reflex shocks. Picked them up for about 33 dollars a piece (no tax and free shipping). What an improvement! Although I have just over 50k mile on my 2003 1500 4x4, the stock shocks were worn out. On 2 of them I could compress them with 2 fingers. Another took forever to extend back out. Truck rides a lot smoother now. Never thought stock shocks could wear out that fast. If you want to know where I got them, PM me. Not sure about posting competitors or what have you info on here.
If yours were bad at 30,000 miles, I can only imagine how bad my orignal ones are at 104,000. I've been planning on replacing mine but I have never got around to it.
I put on a set of Monroe Reflex at 111K. The OEMs were worse than I expected, but not as bad as I've seen They are very nice shocks. I've been very pleased with them.
