Default Just don't know ....

Ironic it is that the truck I bought in 06 is still the best truck for me to own, even with the right drag link falling off and 2700.00 later for a new front stearing and suspension.

In not at all happy with dodge, so I went a looking for a used truck and looked at the new suff ( Titan and Tundra, GMC )

Wammo, 2006 all over again, I can't find a truck with a man transmisson and gas engine and all thier really are out thier are quad cab short boxs with inflated prices, not to mention the bend me over price on my trade on a inflated truck that 6 years from now is going to be falling apart just like the truck I all ready own.

THe old dodge allmost runs like a new truck ( it pretty much is now ) every time I go to a car lot.

Dam near every used truck in the 5 year + range our dodge Rams, 1500 to 3500, that are really subpar to the dodge I own ( with all the $$$$$ i put into mine and only 121,000 km) and the othier brands have higher KM than my truck are are beat to death.

Quality with GM, Ford, Dodge, Toyota nissan, maybe in question every time I reason that the drive to own new has never really put me a head.

Nice Rims and happy adversting wrapped in a nice glossy paint job and sales people with fales hand shakes and slimmy smiles and poor design and sub par build quaility just don;t insipre me.

Dodges sure don't inspire me, and buying brand A or B or C out of spite is not pratical because they don't even build a truck I want ( gas man transmisson)

There ya go----the lesser of the evils. At least you got one that you do like as far as build design

I couldn't imagine making the payments on a new truck for something I didn't like or really want. This is my second Dodge, first was an '04, and now an '07 and I love it. I wouldn't have ditched to '04 except that at the time, the gas was kiiling me. Now I get mileage reimbursement from work that pays for the truck and the gas. Love my Dodge!

Nissan Titan is like a Dakota, nothing even comparable to a Ram as far as I'm concerned. Toyota Tundra is a light duty, light frame truck they put a higher HP motor in. It still to me is like a Dakota and not a full size truck. They are both full sized trucks and yet both have puny 3.5-4" frames that when under Motortrend roadcourse flopped around so bad it was hilarious to watch! F-150 did the best, Ram next, Silverdo 3rd as far as empty handling and towing handling goes. High tow rating for Tundra doesn't mean the frame is solid, that just means the engine can pull the load. In a towing test, the Dodge Ram at a much lower "tow rating" easily matched the capability of the overrated Tundra's "tow capacity"
My buddies Tundra can only hold 800lbs before his suspension is bottoming out and thats what they call 1/2ton? Dakotas can hold that much! His truck is too soft around corners and is merely a grocery getter as far as Im concerned. Pulling his camper is pretty scary without a weight distribution hitch, a trailer my Ram tows without perfectly fine!
The ONLY 3 Real trucks I would even consider buying...Silverado, F-series Ford, and ofcourse a Ram. Nissan is actually going to be sourcing out their Titan to Dodge supposedly, so that means Ram chasis with Titan body and logos. Tundra has SOOOO many customer complaints sales were at an all time low the past few years.

All-in-all, I think Ferd has the best reliability and has the best towing all around. My father has one. And while it's the best in reliability and towing(my opinion) I still wouldn't buy one. I just dont like them. Dont' like the looks, don't like the feel..etc

I still have to turn off the TV or switch the radio station every freaking time thiers a dodge commerical on, Yes its all hype and marketing but in the real world Im verry hostile towards dodge for my drag link falling off my truck.

I can't justify going in debit again to get the same truck or going to anothier brand at this point in time, Ford, GM, dodge, Toyota nissan, its all abought paying to gamble.

Until thiers a gas engine with a man transmisson in a full size truck, the truck I have is pretty much the best choice for me..

Still waiting on transport Canadas report of my complaint of the tire rod (drag link) falling of the right hub and I still call chrysler Canada 1 a week.
