I wouldn't go any taller than 4" if it's already installed. If you're going for looks there's many other things you can do for the money in a 6" lift. Put a jack under your truck and lift it 2 inches, there's your preview.

My vote is always to put the money into making the truck WORK better for what you want. If you're serious about offroading you'll want to drop the transmission and relocate the 'weep hole' before it sucks water and cooks the transmission (very common for Dodges since the 90's)

Freestyle, aren't you the dude who had to rebuild your hemi? I don't offroad too hard like you do haha. I was talking with Hammer and another guy forgot who, in another post and I was making the assumption that 7" with 35's wouldn't look good, but I don't know for sure. I probably won't add a body lift to my truck, just wanted to see what it looks like. Theres way more things I'd do before more lift anyway.

do the tires you have right now look to small for your 4 inch lift? I would assume running a 4 inch lift with 35's but Im like hammer I like as much tire as you can get. I plan on doing a 3 inch with 35's but im worried about running a 35 inch tire and it being hard on the truck

I hate my 33's with the 4". I may like it better if they were smaller rims, I'm going to put the 35's on and I guess just see where it goes from there

Gotta agree there, I had to "endure" about a week of 33s with 4" of lift after I finished the lift install whilst I was waiting for my 35s to come in on order:

You guys are making me feel bad...

Hammer, your setup with 35's is about aesthetically perfect. Well, to me, anyway. 4" suspension with 35" tires is just right. Those 33" tires do look pretty small in the wheel wells. Sometimes I wish I had 35's with my 3" BL, but I went with practicality.

Some day. Some day...

What size tires are you running now with you 3 inch lift?

Hammer did you notice a huge difference in the way your truck drove after installing the 35's?

Me? I've got 33" tires on it. I have no practical use for 35's at the moment. I have no place to get gears done here, anyway, and these hills around my village are pretty unforgiving on fuel economy.
