35's with 6" + lift
If anybody has pics of a ram 1500, preferably 06-08, other 3rd generations welcome too, with 6" or more lift on 35 please post them up I can't decide if the tires would look too small or not
35's with a 6" lift is about perfect, aesthetically, with sidewall:wheel well ratio. Go search through the 3rd Gen pics thread. There's a metric ****e-ton of them in there. Question is, and which will make all the difference... What size rim vs. tire are you looking at. Smaller rim (i.e. 17") with more sidewall will give a much meatier look than a 20" or larger wheel with just a ribbon of rubber around it.
Only you OE!!! LOL...
Personally, I like the look of 4" with 35s which is why I chose to go with the Rancho 4" kit over the Skyjacker 6" kit when I did my lift. Another big factor for me is that I use my bed A LOT to haul and the 2" in height to lift heavy sh*t had to be a serious consideration. But this is ALL personal preference, some like the look of 6" with 35s, I just like the look of a fuller wheel well as long as there is plenty of "flex" room. 6" with 35s don't look bad at all and some prefer it...
