Really!? I was always under the impression they were one of very few the light duty pickups that were actually tougher than our rams. I know for a fact the rear diff and the transfer case in the tundras are definitely tougher than the flimsy crap they put in the ram 1500's. With that said, The ram 1500's are still awesome trucks, and I can get a same year 1500 with same features for thousands less than I can get a tundra.
I was actually considering a 2002 RAM 2500 I came across the other day, It a bit high mileage at 92,000 miles, although it is still a baby. But the price is right.

yeah rear diff and trans case is better, but frame wise not even close. my boss had an 05(i think) and he bent his frame parking sideways on a small hill for a softball game haha.

Ouch, Well no worries, I have my heart set on a hemi ram. For a supposedly weak diff, I sure did push my 05 hard and it kept on ticking.
