Default Help with shocks.

I finally got the overload springs out and I like how level it sits now, but the ride seems a bit stiffer. There isn't anywhere near as much sway going on back there, but I can feel the road a bit more. I would like some opinions of good street shocks for me, I plan on changing all four out at once, so any and all ideas welcome. Thanks in advance!

I have KYB Just-A-Shocks they are gas charged and I love them they make the ride much better then stock or even better then the Skyjackers I had before

Also now, I noticed that if a hit a slight bump in the road I can feel and hear some loud metal smack in the back end? Any ideas on what may be smacking what back there and how to fix it?

Kinda hard to tell without being there but have someone jump up and down on rear bumper and get under and see if you can pinpoint the noise

I did that when I first completed it, and also after I started noticing the noise...but it doesn't happen when I jump on it. Only when I'm driving...could the stock shocks be too long?

I don't see how they would be too long unless the factory messed up, quick question do you have nerf bars?

Sounds stupid but I had a noise similar to yours and I tried to locate noise and it ended up being my nerf bar was loose and would move up an and down as I drove, I fixed the problem and noise was gone, check that and let us know and maybe someone else will chime in and maybe have an idea to what's wrong

I'll take a look at that, and also see if I left anything loose...doubt that though. Thanks Ellis!
