Default In the market for new tires

Im looking into getting some 35's for my truck. Im having a hard time to decide because I dont want them to last 25-30 thousand miles and then be bald. I would like to get a AT since I hardly mud and I want it to last. What are your guys thoughts on some tires? I was looking into the terra grappler but my buddy has them and he said there wearing pretty fast.

Look into Nittos, that's what I'm getting when I change my tires but anyway I have heard a lot of good things about them

Also they are a sponsor on here so look at the top of all the threads and there should be a sponsor thread for them an click on it and check it out and see if there anything you like

Big fan of Nitto Terra Grapplers, but if you got the extra $ to spend then get Mickey Thompson ATZs. I have a buddy with a set on his Z71 with 80,000 miles on them and they still have usable tread on them.

I had a more aggressive Mickey Thompson MTX (long since replaced by the MTZ) on my 2nd Gen and they had 68k on them when I traded the truck in and still had decent tread.

Can't beat a Mickey Thompson / Dick Cepek tire for performance and longevity, only problem is they are at the upper end of the price scale.

A fairly recent photo of my Cepek FCIIs with almost 35k on them, rotated every 6000 miles. The way I look at it, even if I spend $350 a tire (in 35" size) and get 70k out of 'em vs. another tire that's $250 a tire and I only get 40k out of, in the end I'm way ahead of the game...

I was planning on buying the nitto terra grapplers until I talked to my friend that has them. Ya I love the mickey thompson there just so much money but it would be worth it if you could get a lot of miles outta them.

What are your thoughts on the trail grapplers? Ive read great things about them and they look sweet. Just worried cause there an MT and the not lasting factor is really bugging me. Had a set of cooper zeons and they have 22000 miles on them and there already at the wear line. Rotated every 6000 miles never spin them or anything. Very disappointed with them. Thats why Im freaking out about finding a long lasting tire haha

Check out falken rocky mountain ats. My buddy has them on his 2wd Nissan Titan and they have shown no wear in the 5k miles he's had em. I've seen him stuck in the mud only once with these and that's because he tried to drive in reverse through a mud pit I did it in (didn't realize I used 4wd lol) . They're cheap and have a 40k mile warranty
