Default So I towed for the first time...

1st time ever towing anything larger than a small utility trailer...I was fairly impressed with my Ram. I had my Mustang loaded, a small generator in the bed, my tent, sleeping bag, and a small cooler, and my street tires just in case it decided to rain on us. Here in Germany, I was limited to 80 kmh, so I left it in 4th gear and cruised...I was averaging about 13mpg with some hills that made me go into 3rd, but other than that, it did pretty good!

Yes they can haul a load! The hemi is a little better but I haul a ride that's roughly 4,000lbs and get around 11 so that's pretty good. I may have to cruise on over but my Hemi can't swim and I'm not too good myself haha.

ya...the car weighs in at about the same...Come on over..if your military you can get a MAC flight easily. You would be in Chet's neck of the woods, and I could take a trip up there...
@Chet.....here is a vid from the weekend...traction sucked out there, and I kept doing the 3-4 shift at about 3000 rpm, so I was running mid 14s (take about a second off the time from the states, as non prepped track that at the 1/8 goes up hill quite a bit) Best 60ft was a 1.91. Best reaction time was a .060...I am in the right line...Camaro is in the left...

How bad did the leafs sag under the load. I towed a 21 foot trailer with a relatively light load over the weekend and my nose was pointed sky high.

It didn't sag that much at all...At least it was not noticeable. Front end sat level.
