New guy needs advice on a mods
Okay first off, thank you for your service sir. And for the mods, I say just keep it simple, I'd go with exhaust (did you mention that?), tires, keep stock gears, lift, make your own intake (it's simple), the t-stat I don't know much about but if you do that then you should get an efan. Oh yea superchips (or any tuner) is pretty nice to have as well
I actually don't want to keep it too simple. I like building vehicles and learning knew things. I just have to make sure to research the hell out of it before I do something major like gears or cam.
I actually took my muffler off yesterday for just the little extra HP and so it doesn't sound like a V6 anymore. Not the best sound but better than what it was. Not sure what line I want to go with in mufflers or just get a turn down for the straight pipe right now and only use the muffler when I need safety check's done.
Man I wish I was still in Texas haha. Glad to serve.
BTW which leveling kit did you get from HBS? If I were to do the 2.5" do I need the completer kit?

Ok I cant find a 2.5" leveling kit and 1.5" block's for the rear for a 2WD 1500. Anyone know where I can get one. With the Rough Country 3" Lift what are the pro/cons of spindle vs. coil springs. Also, do I need to do anything else with steering components with a lift like this?
