Reason I like a hemi!
Well, deisels are sweet but there's no hemi rumble! I got this truck to use as a truck. I lined the bed, over the rail, bed floors beat up. I have got my share of dents and dings, scratches and scraped. I run 24's and low pros, it's lowered but it'll haul my rock crawlers, drag truck, and I've hauled a '95 body dropped GMC Sierra ext. cab stepside on a friends fully loaded 22ft dovetail with a full tool box and winch on a 3hr trip doing 75-80.
In this pic I averaged 11mpg through the curvy mountain side going 75 on the straights and slow as 30 through the curvy hill climbs. This being a big truck, Cherokee on full widths, 37's, beadlocks, full tool box of spare parts tranny and Tcase, alt, axles, air tanks, big bumpers and winch, it's a fairly heavy set up, and on 24's which are heavy. All in all I'm a very proud hemi Ram owner!

Yea true, my mom had a '99 Ram 5.9 that pulled really good and held up to a semi head on. I had a '01 Dakota with a 4.7 that's pulled that trailer with my '67 C-10 like it wasn't there.
Looks like another Ram at work. Well I've own each of the big 3's and so far the Ram is my favorite. I'll be the first to admit I work it pretty hard from time to time, which I did with all my trucks, but it performs really well every time. I've hauled my little trailer all over the rockies and hauled some heavy loads for a 1500 but power has never been an issue with the Hemi. This year I got some new gears mostly to hunt sushi haulers across the city and have some fun as well as help my tranny out while towing. Dings, scratches and scrapes... sure I got those too... just what happens when you use your truck for things a truck's meant for.
Yea, you have to put some muscle into it for sure. I'm about to purchase some chrome Boss 301 wheels. I found a set local for $350, they have a couple decent tires, 1 about gone, 1 missing a tire. I have a pair of free half tread 275/55/20 a buddy gave me. I really like the stock wheels but for $350 it'll get me a set for winter and towing.

Thanks! Yes, I know a few guys closer to the Arkansas line from there. I've been to Disney OK several times (Hogans Offroad Park).
