I use a Superchips on mine. Works as good as anything else I have tried on any other vehicle. Basic timing/fuel mix changes and trans shift changes. Not a huge noticeable difference, but does shift sharper. The MPG's can go up 1 or 2 if you don't tromp on it, and seems to have the best affect using the tow tune. The econo tune is more for car hemi's. I think the truck is too heavy to have that work well. Currently using the 87 performance tune so I can run the cheaper gas.
Have not tried any other programmer on mine, but Superchips has worked wonders for me. Shift Schedules, Torque Management & Perf tunes made a huge difference in mine.
Go with the superchips, you will have best results on performance tune or tow tune due to the massive weight of the Megacab. Economy tune will cause worse mileage, and im talking from experiance here.
