Hood Questions
Hey guys,
looking to get a new hood. I have an 07 5.7L hemi 1500.
Ive been looking at getting the SRT 10 hood for the longest time.
Ive looked at other hoods such as the STS Hood which is taller then the SRT Hood. Any suggestions on which you guys like?
Also if i go with the SRT hood, would i be able to use my crome grille setup still or do i have to use the grille that comes with the hood? At least I thought the SRT hood comes with a grille. I would assume I could. Also how easy/hard is it to install this hood? Any modifications need to be made? I know they fit 2002-2007 but you know how that can go, ive installed other things on my truck which were suppose to fit but had to do minor mods to make them work.

i went with a fiberglass GoodHood from keystone restyling. i absolutely love it, not mods needed for install. i didnt want a srt hood cause everyone has them
i dont think a new hood comes with a grille. but i would color match your grill if i were you

im now looking into getting a new hood finally as soon as i find out what i want and some details....Any of the aftermarket hoods come with attached grilles or are they easily capable of attaching to the current grille on the ram? I have a crome grille with my electric blue 07 ram. I would like to keep the crome grille on if it looked right...
everyone that ive talked to in person has bought their rams with hoods previously installed...also what recommendations fo you guys have for a good hood? I like the SRT Hood alot but unsure if thats the best way to go. I dont want the bolt on hood scoop either, i want the real deal! any info would be great.

np and there is good reason on why the hood is overplayed (i dont see many in my location with the exception of forum GTG's) is because its a great looking hood and easy to install. Also the resale value has been very good over the years unlike the vehicles its installed on lol.
