Default Hellwig rear anti-sway bar.

I purchased a Hellwig rear anti-sway bar. I was looking into installing it over my R&R, but they forgot to include the endlink bushings. My question is, how much more of an improvement in handling does this provide? I don't really haul much, unless I am making a PCS move. Is it really worth putting on?

I am only asking because I also dropped my bike during R&R and need to repair an upper fairing and wanted to upgrade my lower fairing as well. So the money for it would be a plus, instead of digging further into my pocket...lol.

Bet it would be a huge difference in entering and exiting corners. I love my rear sway bar and can keep up with other cars when entering a corner in the inside lane. What do you mean by "over my R&R"?

Its a great mod.

SLT 8 I believe he is saying on some time off after a deployment. I'd say he is an active duty brother.

Yeah, active Army. My truck is stock height and I have Daystar 1.5" front spacers that are going in when I change all my shocks when I am on post-deployment leave in about 2 months. Like I said before, I don't hotrod my truck around town or haul a whole bunch. Occassionally drive fast, but don't take the corners like a bat out of hell...lol. Will I notice a huge difference during normal daily driving or is this worth passing for me?

Very much worth it as it reduces body roll in all types of driving. I drive the speed limit or 5 over while on the highway so i consider myself a right lane cruiser with hole shots every now and then. Def' one of my favorite suspension mods (Belltech Swaybar)

Side question, are the fairings repairable that you can plastic weld them from the back or fiberglass mat mesh them to reinforce them? Ive got a bike too.

The upper fairing has two cracks from when I dropped it on while on R&R. It's not the first time because I saw some fiberglass matting and what appeared to be body filler (red substance). I only say this because I know that the fairings are abs plastic. I will most likely remove all the fiberglass and bondo, and fill in with abs plastic filler. The fairings i spoke of were for the lower. I have a ninja 500 and it only covers the belly. I will be getting a full lower aftermarket fairing...it just looks better.

There are lots of Ninja boards out there. Those are popular bikes. I would check some out and find some classifieds and pic up a backup set if you plan on keeping the bike for a while. Good luck and ride safe.
