Default Pics of a 2wd With 33" Tires ?

Hey guys new to the forum.

I have been trying to find a couple pictures of someone with a 2002-2008 4x2 with 33"s just would like to see what it actually looks like before I pull the trigger. Also I don't have a leveling kit or lift of any kind so I am sitting at stock height.

Been searching around and I read through the wheel & tire fitment guide and believe I have narrowed it down to the Nitto Trail Grappler's in a size 285/70/17 and the Xd Series Addict in 17 x 9 5x139.7 -12 Offset which should put me at a 4.5" backspacing.

This is my first time actually buying different sized wheels/tires I had no idea how complicated this was gonna be haha, but I really want to make sure its right before I drop the money.

Any and all help/input would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Check the pic in my signature, or basically any RAM with stock 20" wheels.
Stock tire size for RAMs with 20" wheels is 275/60R20 (32.99").

Thanks for the help guys

Feel stupid for not knowing that stock size were just a little smaller then 33's lol

My 2007 Ram came with 245/70r17 when i got it. They just seem a little to small for a Truck :/ even if it is only a 2wd

Put you some big 'ol meats on that truck, who cares if it's "only" a 2WD...

Once my employment situation improves, I'm putting 4.56 gears and 35" tires on mine. Can't wait.

You should be good on your rim choice - those are the same specs I'm going to get. I have stock 20's now with same tires as came stock and even with the large donuts on there already, there is still lots of room. Going to level the front end out, throw on the 17's with some 305/17/70 Terra Grapplers on them. Should put my height just a hair below 35" if I remember correctly.

Thanks for all the input guys it helps out a lot

As soon as I get paid this week I will be probably be dropping the money

After some more research think I will probably be going with the Terra grapplers instead of the trail just because I can get those a little cheaper and they still look pretty sweet

Kind of how i feel about it Hammer, but i usually get the guys that are like "Its a 2wd why even bother putting tires or a lift on it"

My response, Because it looks good

I know an awful lot of guys around south Georgia who have lifted 4x2s for work around the farm trucks who play/fish/hunt hard with 'em on weekends. The lift and big tires are for getting through deep rutted fields.

Lifted 4x2s can be for a lot more than just looks. Put a locker or high biased LSD in the rear with some aggressive meats and you'll go damn near everywhere a 4x4 will go. Especially a stock 3rd Gen IFS 1500 4x4, since even if it came with LSD it's so low biased and with IFS up front best you really can have is a three wheel drive vehicle...
