Default Help with Tires/Wheels

Hello all, I gotta question on tires. I am lifting my truck this summer and am having a hard time decidng on tires, I am going with 33's. I have narrowed it down to a few different choices. 1) BFG km2 2) cooper stt 3) Fierce Attitude. My question is mileage (both mpg and longevity). This will mainly be used as a dd (I know an at tire would better suit my needs, but really like the look of the mt and am going with one). I will occasionally be doing some offroading (mainly mud) as well as it has to preform in snow (as I live in Minnesota). As with all tires, one gets mixed reviews, I need to get 40,000+ miles out of them so am looking for any experiences/opinions. Please don't bring up toyo, because I can't afford $400 a tire. I'm planning on MT sidebiters (15x8 with 5x5.5 bolt) also does anyone know of a good 16x8 5x5.5 all black alloy wheel (would need if went with the attitudes as they only offer 16in rim. Any help is appreciated!!

And yes, I know there are many other forums out there about this topic, I have read many of them, I just want a second opinion

I've got the Fierce atittude MT's on my 07 1500. And have been very happy w/them(285/70/17). They are a D-rated tire but thier rated for I believe 3150#. As with all MT's rotate rotate rotate. Good luck

Thanks for the response, I definitely like the fierce the best. My issue is that I would have to get a steel rim because I can't find an all black 16x8 with a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. I have steel rims on the truck now, but since I am not regearing and I have the 3.55 ratio, I think it would help performance wise to go with alloys. Any opinions on this. If steelies are ok, then there is an American racing rim I like.

You can't put 16s on a dodge ram. Smallest wheel you can run on this trucks is 17s

Actually I am putting the wheels in my 1991 (which has stock 15x6ish), when the moderator ^^ moved it he put it in g3 referring to the 06' but I figured it wouldn't 't really matter due to the question is not specific to the truck. With this out of the way, any other ideas??
