Default Help choosing wheel color

hey guys i am going to powder coat a set of 17" wheels for my truck. i have 20" stock rims on it now. i cannot decide on a black semi gloss or a black gloss. i am leaning towards the gloss what do you think. it will be eastwood powder. thanks mike

i guess it would depend on the color of the truck....

yeah, depends on the color. If its black then i think gloss is ok, other colors I like matte. Depends on what your trim accessories are too and other stuff you've done. Post up a pic or two.

Paint one gloss and one matte to see what you like better. Then just paint over the other one

Is there a big difference between black semi gloss and black gloss?

sorry for the late response. my truck is light blue slt with crome trim. i will post up a pic. i am going to powder coat them, so i may by a small sample of both before i choose the color just not sure if it is ok to powder one and then do a second coat? i will have to look into that. i agree the gloss looks nice on black trucks. i was also thinking of satin black. it is between semi and matte. i like matte but not sure how it would look on my truck.

Any luck with the picture? Maybe try photobucket then use the direct link.

Also, you could powdercoat a piece of scrap and hold it up to your truck for a comparison if you don't want to have to potentially recoat if you don't like it.
